Aquatica's crystal-blue lagoon will provide a home to several beautiful Commerson's Dolphins (Cephalorhynchus commersonii). These beautiful, black-and-white dolphins are also known as skunk dolphins or piebald dolphins. The Commerson Dolphin was named for Philibert Commerson, a French naturalist who described them in 1767 after sighting them in the Strait of Magellan. In addition to the Strait of Magellan, the Commerson Dolphin can be found off the shores of Argentina and near the Falkland Islands.
